About Us

Dr. Edward Song, DVM, Diplomate ABVP (Canine & Feline Practice), Orthopedic Fellow (Canine & Feline), CVA, is a board-certified specialist in canine and feline veterinary care since 2011, with recertification every decade to uphold the highest standards. In 2025, he became a Founding Fellow of the ABVP Canine & Feline Orthopedics Fellowship, advancing his expertise in orthopedic surgery for dogs and cats. Founder of a successful South Orange County practice in 2007 (sold in 2019), he launched OC-LA Mobile Surgery in early 2019 to deliver affordable, specialized surgical services in partnership with local veterinarians. With a passion for community service since 2000, Dr. Song balances his career with family life alongside his wife Amber, a pharmacist, and their two sons. An avid golfer (handicap 6-7) and Pilates enthusiast, he enjoys national park adventures with his loved ones.

Our goal is to collaborate closely with your primary veterinarian to diagnose and create tailored surgical plans for each pet. This partnership ensures seamless, high-quality care in the familiar setting of your veterinarian’s hospital, so your pet stays comfortable without needing to travel. We provide mobile specialty surgeries in Orange County and Los Angeles areas.
